Mohammed Al Sharqi meets FPA Team and receives a briefing on launch preparations

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, received H.E. Nasser Al Yamahi, Executive Director of Fujairah Culture & Media Authority (FCMA) along with Fujairah Photography Award (FPA) Team at his office (Diwan Al Amiri).

During the meeting, Sheikh Mohammed was briefed on the FCMA and FPA Team’s preparations for the launch of FPA as well as on the FPA objectives in the upcoming edition.

Through FPA, FCMA seeks to showcase the creativity of photographers and strengthen Fujairah’s standing as a cultural and artistic hub.
Fujairah government is dedicated to supporting all types of creative industries, including visual arts, stressed His Highness Sheikh Mohammed, highlighting directives of His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah, on the necessity of paying attention to artistic projects and initiatives that strengthen Fujairah’s presence in the global cultural arena as well as paving the way for international cultural and creative exchanges.

Furthermore, His Highness commended FCMA’s endeavors in attracting creative and talented individuals in the field of photography through this significant award, emphasizing the need to activate constructive partnerships and combine efforts of relevant entities in order to develop distinctive cultural and artistic programs with a view to promoting the sustainable growth of the artistic sector.

H.E. Nasser Al Yamahi expressed gratitude to His Highness the Crown Prince of Fujairah for his unwavering support for all FCMA’s projects and initiatives, stressing the team’s readiness to organize the FPA next edition according to the highest standards.

The meeting was also attended by H.E. Dr. Ahmed Hamdan Al Zeyoudi, Director of Fujairah Crown Prince’s Office.
