Mohammed Al Sharqi meets Fujairah Photography Award team and reviews preparations for its launch
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, met in his office at the Emiri Diwan, His Excellency Nasser Al Yamahi, Executive Director of the Fujairah Culture and Media Authority, and the Fujairah Photography Award team.
During the meeting, His Highness was briefed on the Fujairah Culture and Media Authority’s preparations and the team’s arrangements for the launch of the Fujairah Photography Award and its objectives in its next edition.
Through which the Authority seeks to shed light on the creativity of photographers and enhance Fujairah’s position as a cultural and artistic destination.
His Highness stressed the Fujairah government’s interest in supporting the creative industries sector in all its forms, including visual arts, referring to the directives of His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah, on the need to focus on artistic projects and qualitative initiatives that enhance the emirate’s presence in the global cultural scene and open global horizons for cultural and creative communication with various countries of the world.
His Highness praised the Authority’s efforts in attracting creative and talented people in the field of photography through this important award, directing the need to activate constructive partnerships and combine efforts between relevant parties to develop distinctive cultural and artistic programs with the aim of supporting the sustainable growth of the artistic sector.
For his part, His Excellency Nasser Al Yamahi expressed his thanks to His Highness the Crown Prince of Fujairah for his continuous support for all the Authority’s projects and initiatives, stressing the team’s readiness to organize the next edition of the Fujairah Photography Award according to the best standards.
The meeting was attended by His Excellency Dr. Ahmed Hamdan Al Zeyoudi, Director of the Office of His Highness the Crown Prince of Fujairah.
