FPA organizes Professional Fashion Photography Workshop

From February 1 to 2, Fujairah Photography Award (FPA) organized a two-day specialized workshop titled “Touch & Lights: Mastering Fashion Photography.” Orangery restaurant hosted the theoretical segment of the workshop, while “Art House” accommodated the second day’s activities. Led by photographer and trainer Yazzen Omar, the workshop also featured the participation of Mubarak Mahboob, both of whom are jury members of FPA. Sponsored by Zero Nine and Fujifilm, the workshop provided a valuable learning experience for 20 photographers from across the UAE.
According to Yazzen Omar, the first day of the workshop focused on an in-depth explanation on technical aspects of camera and lens of various types, demonstrating how they can be leveraged to capture professional fashion photos. The second day involved hands-on application of the technical aspects, enabling participants to develop their creative vision, and besides, high-quality fashion photos were captured.
Fujairah Culture & Media Authority (FCMA) launched FPA on October 8, 2024, with the final submission deadline set for September 16, 2025, for entries across all themes. The winners will be revealed at a ceremony held in October 2025.
