Fujairah Photography Award Commences Jury Deliberations Following Submission Closure; Winners to Be Honoured at the End of October
Under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, the Fujairah Culture and Media Authority, the organiser of the Fujairah International Photography Award, announced the commencement of jury deliberations to select the most distinguished works submitted for the award’s 7th edition in 2025.
The submission window officially closed on September 16, after a registration period that opened on October 8, 2024. The 7th edition attracted a significant number of professional and amateur photographers from across the globe, reflecting the cultural and artistic diversity that distinguishes the award.
The 7th edition focuses on the main category titled “Fujairah City of East and Light”, alongside several other categories, including:
Second Category: Traditional Crafts and Markets
Global Category: Street Stories.
This year’s submissions are marked by artistic and cultural diversity, highlighting the wealth of creative experiences of photographers from various nationalities.
The closing ceremony to announce and honour the winners is scheduled for the end of October, with the presence of official, cultural, and artistic figures, underscoring the award’s significance at both the Arab and international levels.
