Judging Panel Concludes Evaluation of Entries for the Fujairah Photography Award
The Fujairah Photography Award has announced that the judging panel has completed the evaluation of entries for its seventh edition (2024–2025), which witnessed a wide participation from both local and international photographers. A total of 780 photographic works were submitted across three main categories:
the main category “Fujairah: City of East and Light”, the local and international category “Traditional Crafts and Markets”, and the international category “Stories from the Street.”
The judging panel comprised a group of experts and specialists in the field of photography, who carefully reviewed and evaluated the submitted works according to precise artistic criteria that take into account the quality of composition, creativity and visual message.
The panel noted that selecting the winners was a challenging task due to the beauty, excellence, and creative diversity of the photographs in all three categories, reflecting the high level of talent demonstrated by the participants this year.
The panel emphasized that the entries were distinguished by the variety of subjects and the richness of creative perspectives, which reflect the continuous development of photographic art in the United Arab Emirates and highlight Fujairah’s position as a platform that celebrates photographic talents and supports visual creativity.
The winners of the award will be announced in an official ceremony organized by the Fujairah Culture and Media Authority in the coming period, in recognition of the photographers’ efforts and their contributions to enriching the cultural and creative scene.
