Emirati photographer Salma Al Suwaidi displays the beauty of wildlife at Fujairah Photography Award

Emirati photographer Salma Al Suwaidi takes part in the seventh edition of the international Fujairah Photography Award with a photography exhibition of 15 photos documenting the nests and birds of the UAE, including flamingos, hoopoe, and owls.

Her participation is inspired by her book “Common Birds and Their Nests in the UAE”, which took 14 years of work, during which she documented the wildlife and biodiversity, overcoming the challenges and difficulties of mobility as a person of determination.

Al Suwaidi said that the exhibition is intended to highlight the beauty of Emirati nature and promote awareness of the importance of conserving the environment, highlighting that photography is a powerful means of documenting and disseminating environmental knowledge among the public.
